We would like to offer the conference participants the opportunity to join thematic sightseeing tours to explore Warsaw. More detailed information on the excursions will be available soon.
The Conference Dinner will provide an opportunity for the participants to discuss in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy meeting outside the formal scientific programme. The Conference Dinner of EACS 2022 is planned to take place at the Jablonna Palace on Tuesday, 12 July 2022.
Jabłonna Palace (Polish: Pałac w Jabłonnie) is a baroque palace built for Primate Michał Jerzy Poniatowski, the brother of King Stanisław August Poniatowski. It was built to a design by Domenico Merlini from 1775 to 1779, and later modified by Enrico Marconi in 1837. The palace is surrounded by an English-style park, created in the 18th century by Szymon Bogumił Zug, with romantic buildings including a small Chinese house and a conservatory. The palace interiors are richly decorated, including paintings by Szymon Mańkowski and Antoni Tavellego and stucco by Anotono Bianchi. The palace was burnt down in 1944 and rebuilt after the World War II.
