Warsaw, a vibrant and welcoming city, is the cultural and political capital of Poland.
The historic Old Town and the red-bricked Royal Castle are Warsaw's must-see. Meticulously rebuilt from rubbles after WW2, the Old Town is known for its unique mixture of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements.
Royal Lazienki Palace and the garden
Lazienki Park is a place of tranquility in the very heart of the busy city. It hosts the Fryderyk Chopin monument and two open-air Chopin concerts by famous pianists each summer Sunday.
